Florian ver Argia

Florian is the Prince of the Sunlight Court. He is young to have such a position of responsiblity, but was forced into it after the death of his father following the theft of the sproutling from their court. He wears a simple gold circlet as a sign of his authority and position.

He is serious about his responsibility, which is why he retains Lady Linetta as his consort. Without that position she would lack influence, so as he has no one else he would rather have in that role he continues to support her. She protects him from the pressure to formalise a union with someone else.

He is a good swordsman and trains almost every morning on the mound with the guards.

He cares deeply for his people, though he often comes across as aloof to others. He believes in accuracy and data.

Bethrothal plans

The rulers of starlight had intended for Zoe to be betrothed to Florian, though through the queen of moonlight's meddling (to switch it to the new sproutling), the king of starlight never agreed.
