Herne the Huntsman
Herne lives in The forest in a Herne's house. He has a collection of seven or eight large hounds which accompany him and who hunt with him. He is considered a scary story and not really real. Fae stay in their mound on the night of a new moon, to avoid his wild hunt, but most consider that superstition and don't believe he really exists.
He is taller than most fae and has antlers on top of his head. His voice is deep and gruff.
He prefers to be alone and among the trees. He leads the wild hunt through the forest. Many fae treat stories of him as legend.

He wore a leather waistcoat over a crumpled linen shift of an indeterminate colour. Atop his head were two antlers, with as many tines as I'd ever seen on a wild deer.
