The Fall of Caliban

The Sycorax system - along with the habitable world of Caliban - was forgotten long ago.   Before Union. Before the great traumas. While Cradle sat in deaf repose, Caliban and its inhabitants waged a bloody civil war. As a mirror image of their home of origin, the people inhabiting the Sycorax system created such weapons that they were wiped from existence in the blink of an eye, leaving behind automated defense grids that destroyed any vessel foolish enough to approach the system.   But signals have been intercepted pinging out of the Sycorax system. Someone or something inside the system is calling out to all of Union, and everyone wants a piece of what the Sycorans cooked up during their millennia-long genocide.   Who are you? Who hired you? And what will you find in the forsaken ruins of the Fall of Caliban?
