Quillmen
A Quillman is a human sized bird, that can walk, talk and interact as a regular human would. They are often blue, black and grey but can come in other colours too, depending on heritage.
Quillmen are nearly extinct, with a mere 54 remaining. They inhabit a mountain on the island of Moella, where they mingle and develop relationships with other species in a hope to breed.

Genetics and Reproduction
Quillmen lay large eggs that take six months to hatch into a Quilling.
Growth Rate & Stages
The first stage of life is as a Quilling, a small version of a Quillman. After around twelve years the Quilling will grow into a full sized Quillman.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Quillmen are vegetarian, only eating fruits, vegetables and herbs.
Biological Cycle
Every quarter a Quillman will shed its feathers to give way to a fresh, clean layer.
