Aitmear

Geography

The Aitmear is a braided channel of the River Lar. The Lar splits at the Pool of Larfleur, forming the large eyot of Insurba. The Aitmear has been described as a creek and at low tides it is almost possible to walk entirely across the bed to the other side.
