Ken
Ken (a.k.a. Just Ken)
Born into a life of plastic in Willows, Wisconsin. A half wood elf he is attractive, charismatic, and a friend to all animals. He moved to Barbieland and worked many jobs until he back saved the life of Mattel, the sacred horse of Barbieland Beach. The Goddess Ruth granted his wish to hide his half-elf appearance. He became hero of the beach but developed a god-like attitude. Barbieland had many unspoken injustices. The fragility of his ego and blonde-ness lead him take on these injustices, but he went to far and broke the conditions of the Goddess Ruth's gift. He's a little dumb and has sworn to respect and protect all women and horses and follow the moral code of being kenough but still longs to be seen as the hero he was.

Personal history
Half-elf born and raised in the human city of Willows, Wisconsin. Neither parent accepted him and he left home to live with his internet best friends Barbie and Allan in Barbieland, a subdivision in the State of Los Angeles. He worked over 40 jobs, always getting fired for being half-elf, until one day when he was employed as a barista at the beach, he heroically saved the sacred beach horse, Mattel’s, life. The Goddess Ruth, full of gratitude, offered to grant him one wish as a reward for his bravery. Ken asked her to disguise his elvish appearance (but still look hot) and appear human (a hot human) so that he would no longer be discriminated against. She granted him the wish on the condition that he did not abuse this gift.
Unfortunately he let it go to his head. No longer held back by his half-elf appearance he became a legend of beach with his seemingly eternal youth, hot bod, secret elvish skills and charisma. He was the bravest lifeguard, an olympic skilled swimmer, a trained sailor, and friend to all animals (especially horses). The other men of Barbieland began calling themselves Ken’s and he developed a god like attitude. The more he abused my charisma, charm, and good looks the more his maturity, intelligence, and wisdom diminished.
He had always crushed hard on his best friend Barbie and he always thought she didn’t return the feelings because of his half-elvishness. She told him he “wasn’t her type”. When he was finally “human” and hero of beach/self appointed god of beach, and she still did not love him in return, he became bitter.
All he wanted was to be loved and accepted, to be Kenough, and with his emotional crippling and lack of maturity he lashed out. He began calling out the injustices of Barbieland and the way non-Barbies were treated. He took it too far and took over Barbieland, tried to turn the local government into a patriarchy (after misunderstanding what a patriarchy was then just had to roll with it) and change the HOA to promote his Kendom. He forced Barbie to move out of her own dreamhouse. And Allan tried to run away.
Overconfident and no longer thinking realistically, he tried to save a boatload of horses from drowning and ended up losing his life. As he lay dying on the beach, Barbie gave him the validation he always sought, helping him realize he was Kenough, and she loved him just “not that way.” He passed on, vowing to love and respect women and horses in his next life.
When he was reborn into his new life he swore an oath to remember he's Kenough and to use his story as cautionary tale. Accepting that he's just Ken, he's become a Bard to use the power of song to tell his stories. He's just a little dumb full of blonde fragility, despite his outwards over confidence. So he makes mistakes can get carried away bragging about his glory days as hero of beach when he starts remembering how great it felt to be the hero of beach. He's currently been employed with the job beach, where he stands confidently in the sand, observe the waves, and sing songs about his past life as the hero of Barbieland beach.
His longsword was given to him by his best friend Barbie as a thank you for showing her that there were problems in Barbieland. And dying to save what he loves (horses).
He doesn't like fighting and is not good with the sword and has sworn to use it only if women or horses are in danger. If he has to fight he would rather use objects around him but prefers to sing his way out of situations. And still wants to be seen as a hero.
