Mythology & Lore

The Vaettringr follow all the myths and beliefs of Eldaskali, but believe that Lady Vaettr was cast out to Vaettrland rather than choosing to become the guardian of the dead, and harbours extreme resentment to the gods of Hylland as a result. They believe that she will one day rise up with her army of the dead to take revenge on the family that turned its back on her.

Worship

The worship of Lady Vaettr within this cult is bloody and violent, paying much more attention to dark magics and blood sacrifice than baseline Eldaskali. Sacred groves are important as places of worship, rather than the world in general, and totems and fetishes see much wider usage for members of the cult.
