Seen by those who were here first as invaders from the east. Humans arrived in the Bright Lands, from across the Plague Sea, a little over five hundred years ago. Since that time, they have settled along the coast and founded five realms that often work in cooperation, but occasionally work in competition with each other.

Humanity has a preternatural affinity to the manipulation of the various Magicks found in the Bright Lands. It is unclear from surviving documents whether they possessed this ability from before they crossed the Plague Sea.
Civilization and Culture
History
When Mankind arrived upon the shores of the continent they would call the Bright Land, they were fleeing the cataclysmic destruction of their homeland. Unfortunately any accurate or detailed records of that event were lost to the passage of time. To save themselves, they took to ships to cross the Plague Sea in search of a new home. They refer to the ordeal of this jurney as The Crossing.
In form, and in reason, Mankind is the most noble paragon of all the races.
