White Pepper

The process of refining peppercorn into white pepper is more involved than the method to make black pepper, as such it is a much more valuable commodity.
The duchy of frostryme is the greatest consumer of white pepper.  The personal chef of Duke Aldhar of Frostryme is committed to making dishes for the duke that look as white as snow.  As a result of this, every nobles chef in frostryme attempts to emulate this effect as well.
