Symbol of the Society of Bard
A copper coin cut in half and usually made into a neckless, brooch or ring. But sometime there more inventive ways to hold it. Each way it is displayed and worn it means a different thing.
- In a ring and you put a your hand in site (discreetly) of another member it means you want to speak quietly and discreetly
- Half a coin as part of a neckless with the string chain put through a simple hole it means you are a member. But it is always has to be worn with another half coin or you could be considered a target.
- If you have a fancy Brooch around on your left chest it usually means how high in society you are in hanging in fancy society. But if it's not fancy it usually means your poor or just hanging around in taverns and slummy areas.
Significance
It get's the attention of the society either that you want a chat, wanting shelter, setting a target for a killing or kidnapping depending on what your job is?
