Toyotama-hime
Toyotama-hime is a kami worshipped in Washū province as the daughter of the sea god, Unagami. She was the lover of Kinoshita no Akihiko and is the mother of Akihide. Upon the birth of her son, Toyotama-hime disappeared from the lives of her lover and their child, returning to her father's palace, Ryūgū-jō, deep beneath the ocean waves.

Like her father, Toyotama-hime is venerated in provinces with large seafaring industries and cultures, particularly Washū, Settsu, and Koshi.
