Dan

Dan is one of twelve mercenaries (Jalan's Mercenaries) hired by Jalan Kendith as protection just before the Vocantem. He is also one of six which survived long enough to be named.

Dan, the boldest of those six, approached Jalan and demanded pay after Soular Power traveled north to the Research Outpost and entered a hairy combat with the monstrous races assaulting the researchers. Jalan, entertained by his boldness, acquiesced, and paid Dan a portion more than his fellow mercenaries.
