Kossuth's Sanctuary

A road-side cemetery on the mountain path between Stalwartz and Streamwalk.

The Soular Power Caravan stumbled across this cemetery on their journey between the two cities. It gave off a chilling vibe to passersby, and it seemed that there was absolutely no living plant life either within the cemetery or in the immediate vicinity. A tall stone wall surrounded the site, topped with thin iron spikes, with a single large metal gate breaking a gap in the stone for a small dirt path winding into the cemetery from the road.

Fritz inquired with Vincent Syndarkyl as to the nature of the unnervingly dead landscape, to which he immediately cried "NECROMANCY!" and hobbled out of the caravan on his broken leg to begin casting some rituals to restore the ground to its hallowed state. Due to the impatience of the party, he only got one 10 foot square of ground completely cleansed, and the rest of the graveyard a light blessing.

On the far side of the cemetery from the gate stood a massive bronze statue, dwarven in construction, which Fritz nicknamed the Grave Guardian. The Grave Guardian is sentient and stands some sort of guard within the cemetery, and asks of visitors to the site a tribute to Kossuth, which they toss in the ever-burning fires of the Guardian's belly.

After the party's tribute, they were granted fire resistance for the month following their visit.
