The Fogs

The mysterious universe where all campaigns of this world take place.

It contains an unknown multitude of continents, subcontinents, islands, and other bastions of civilization. All have one thing in common - they cannot freely travel across the oceans which border their lands. Many have tried - a certain distance out into the ocean rolls a fog with terrible magical properties, a fog which few travelers have survived. Travel between these continents is possible, but strictly limited to either those massively powerful enough to brave the magic of the Fogs and survive, traveling by air or by sea, or inter-continental travel by magic, wrought by those who have seen the other side already.

Known civilizations within the Fogs include the Creeh Colony, the B'Lerrian Archipelago, and Atrya, the continent of origin of The Volaris Empire, which in the centuries since its founding has spread an unprecedented distance throughout the Fogs.
