The Inquisition

The Inquisition is a branch of the government of The Volaris Empire under the rule of Ragnar Volaris. It was assembled at the birth of the new Empire, as Ragnar took the throne, and has disseminated far and wide in the hundreds of years since.

It is the primary investigative branch of the Volaris Empire. In assimilated conquered territories of the Empire, it operates primarily under the direction and intention of the greater Empire but will occasionally deal with matters more suited to smaller local systems of government.
