Sundering

When reality breaks, it is called the Sundering. Little is known about the specifics of where it came from but the closer to the Founding Planet the more powerful and unmanageable it becomes. The only reasons people go near the planet and its' moons is because of the founding ships, which holds significant importance especially to those with supernatural abilities--- like Shades, Kinetics, Empaths, Firebrands, and Seers ---but for the most part the Founding Planet is avoided. Even farther out of the forge the Sundering touches part of the worlds. In some cases, like planet @E-27 where an entire planet was destroyed, it's people permanently infected and doomed to die, the Sundering is a powerful deadly force. In other cases, like the objects Empaths imbue with emotions and memories, it is harmless and can even be helpful. Regardless, the Sundering is unpredictable. The only thing people can be sure about is its' unpredictability.
