Backstory

Juvia Lockser grew up noble family line. The Genasi race as whole having a leader for each faction, among this council. Each Leader producing heirs to take over. Her mother Laviana Lockser, is the Leader of the Water Genasi Faction, and her father Drone Lockser being the lieutenant of the Water Genasi army faction. Women usually hold the leadership role while the male counterpart takes part in the providing leadership over armies or labor work of the factions. She has two siblings, her sister Merini Lockser, the eldest heir. Also her brother, Leon Lockser. Mirini the first in line for Leader behind their mother. But if multiple heirs are had, the heirs may duel amongst themselves for the right to be the rightful heir. Not to the death of course. Until the first heir yields. Juvia being the youngest, had a hard time coming into her power. So she accepted that the role of leadership would fall to her sister when her mothers time as leader would end. So she was more the invisible child of the three. Her brother probably taking on their dads future roll of captain of the water battalion.

The fire Genasi leader and elder always thought that only one leader was always the answer and best course of action. Other factions always partially agreed and disagreed at the same time. So there is tension when it comes to the topic of the elder families and the multiple factions. Her best friend and ward of her mother was among of the Wind Genasi, Octavia Windland, from the Elder Wind Family. Neither one of them anxious to duel siblings for the leadership role.

Her rivals or frenemies; one being Rosana Piercens, is from the Fire Genasi Elder family line. Came into her power before her and her best friend, and was determined to always show off that she was gonna duel her siblings and power her way into the role. The other being Margorie Shales, from the Earth Genasi faction. Not as mean or a show off. More a second in command to the first frenemy.

No love interest. Marriages were always planned by parents of heirs
