Prince Darvruil Moonflower (a.k.a. Nightwing Adarbrent, Darvil Grayson)

Raised by the Human wizard John Grayson, Darvil grew up believing he was a Half Elf and that John was his father. One fateful night in Waterdeep, the Grayson Estate was attacked by some of John's ex students, now bearing a tattoo of a circle with 10 arms. Darvil hides during the attack but witnesses his fathers murder. Traumatized and fearing for his life he leaves Waterdeep and heads to Neverwinter where he spends the next 10 years developing the skills he learned from his father at Eltorchul Academy to become a bounty hunter.
In the Spring 1491 DR, A Dwarf bard named Gundren Rockseeker comes to Neverwinter recruiting adventurers for some secret expedition. Darvil observes the dwarf as his recruits come together, a mismatched group of characters congregating at The Beached Leviathan. Darvil takes this opportunity to introduce himself and offer his services at which Gundren accepts and leaves them all in the charge of Eiorrna Luckheart, before heading out to Phandalin with Sildar Hallwinter.
After a small unfortunate break in, the party head out on the road. Things go downhill when they discover that Gundren and Sildar have been ambushed and kidnapped, a deal struck with the Goblin Yeemik the Brave and an Orc overlord decapitated, the Party head to Phandalin with the now rescued Sildar.
In town Dravil meets Sister Garaele, a Moon Elf priestess of Tymora, and she helps him realize that he is not a half elf and guides him on how to connect to his ancestors with the reverie. Darvil make a connection with his mother and witnesses fragments of her life during his trance.
