Fulcrum's History

Rose Keep becomes the HQ of the Zulkir for their planned attack on Szass Tam in Thay. The Zulkir manage to stop Szass's ritual and prevent him from ascending to godhood, but they all die in the process.

On his 16th year of being born and living in captivity, an unexpected attack on the enclave on what was a calm afternoon turned into a flurry of metal, magic, and a storm of slaves breaking down doors and shedding blood under the bright noon sun. The attack was orchestrated by Levant, one of the masters of the enclave that left when Szass Tam rose to power, overcoming Tharna's magical protections and teleporting his forces directly inside the enclave. Within the chaos of the attack, Fulcrum’s father found him and tasked a Centaur guard, called Vrol that he deeply trusted, to help his son escape out of harm's way. Fulcrum refused to leave without his father, but a magical collar worn by the most treasured of Tharna's slaves could not be removed and prevented his father from escaping along with them.
