Campaign 2

On a mission to scout the size and strength of the raiding camp, Fitzwith and Thelrig attempt to parley with a group of raiders. As tensions rise, Cyrus begins moving out of hiding and toward the camp and is recognized. The raiders set upon the two in the camp, killing Fitzwith before the others can arrive. After clearing what remained of the camp, the party buried Fitzwith under the shade of an old oak tree, as the little critters of the forest mysteriously emerge and laid offerings of nuts and berries at his grave.

On the way to Elturel, a heavy mist settles around them as they journey deeper through the woods. Unbeknownst to them, the party has inadvertently wandered into the realm of Barovia.
