Basir Disciple of the Forge

The story of Basir starts with a blessing from Gond, and his fateful hammer. Different moral beliefs caused Basir to be exiled at a young age of 20 years old. By the will of Gond, Basir was to become a Disciple of The Forge. In order to craft a new path for himself, Basir trained as an apprentice under a fellow exile; A Master Craftsman from Clan Duergar. For 30 years, faith and dedication to The Forge allowed Basir to become a full fledged disciple of Gond.
Now, Basir is a wandering cleric of Gond, who travels between settlements finding work as a Blacksmith. His main wish is to forge legends with his hammer, using the blessings of Gond. Hoping to gain respect from Moradin, and bring honor to himself, as well as the rest of the Duergar race. Envisioning that the Duergar re-visit their morals, and re-join their Dwarven brethren in peace.
