Okrin the Unshackled

After a disastrous fire destroyed his home, Okrin was left orphaned with nothing. He lived on the street for years stealing and mugging to stay alive. He grew a hate for the world and all those in it. He felt cheated and violated from losing everything in life. He vowed that he would never feel so powerless and hopeless again. Years later, he began his studies in the mystic arts under the teachings of xxxx after much convincing. Okrin excelled in the teachings and was set to become one of the greatest wizards of the coming generation, but Okrin’s intentions were not pure. You see, Okrin had learned years ago of the demon lord Asmodeous who granted great power to those who served him. After years of teachings, Okrin finally possessed the power and knowledge he needed to make contact with a subject of Asmodeous. However, to do so, the ritual required a human sacrifice with which contained a large magical potency. Okrin thought who better than his master. One dark night, Okrin ambushed his master and sacrificed him to Asmodeous. In his doing so, he was able to communicate, surprisingly, with Asmodeous himself. Okrin pledged himself to the demonic lord and in return Asmodeous agreed to grant Okrin power to serve under him and to do his bidding. Asmodeous gave Okrin one task, return all current and future escaped souls back to hell. In addition to his new power and mission, Okrin was also named Okrin the unshackled and was known throughout the layers of hell as such.
