West Harbor

Village in the Mere of Dead Men. Prior to 1492 it had a population of roughly sixty or so and had held steady as a "free" village for decades. In 1492 when the Mere was partially drained, the Harbormen's farmland vastly increased but the village was attacked by Lizardfolk of the nearer tribe. Only a little more than half the population escaped to Thornhold, which was opened to protect them by the Margaster family who had only recently reclaimed it.
