Kaineian Lysanderites

A very old offshoot to the followers of Pelor who instead worship his sometimes-son, always champion Lysander, the Burning Dawn.

On top of the usual agriculture, the pain and glare of the dawn, and withstanding it, is seen as a core tenant of the faith, with tattoos, ritual scars, and/or piercings being a common fixture of priests and the devout depending on place. This said, other flagellation is frowned upon, as being able to heal gracefully from the pain is the point in inflicting it- proof of the dawn god's favor. Just as it is painful, the dawn is beautiful, herald of life and the coming day.
