While both of them were raised to be acolytes, they didn't really talk that much until after Gil developed divine magics, after which Theodas weirdly didn't get jealous (being son of the light father), but instead just tried to help Gilred work through the pressure of something like that. Ever since, they've been fast friends.

He's got his dad, who he's... got mixed feelings about. One the one hand, he understands that he's never really had troubles in life because of him, on the other it sorta feels like he's just being groomed to become another selfish lightfather at some point. Also? Dad's kinda racist.
