History
Little is known about how Arboren is born, save for old rumors that a Wood Elf may whisper to a fresh sapling to wake it up. Trees have long ago been believed to have learned the Sylvan language and know it well even as a seed.

Lifespan. Mature around 40, live to be 400 years
Size. (Medium) between 5-7 feet Tall
Speed. 25 ft.
Plant Stealth. You can hide when only lightly obscured by natural phenomena like falling rain, leaves, or snow.
Fire Weakness. Like many plants, you are susceptible to heat. You have disadvantage on saving throws against fire damage and are vunrable to fire damage.
Tree State. You don’t need to sleep. Instead, they become inert and appear almost identical to a tree, remaining semiconscious, for 2 hours a day. While inert, it is difficult to distinguish you from a tree, and you remain semiconscious.(any short rest is also a long rest)

As an action, you can touch a creature and cause it to regain several hit points equal to your and the target's class level. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest |

You create spores to infest a corpse and animate it. If a beast or a humanoid that is Small or Medium dies within 10 feet of you, you can use your reaction to animate it, causing it to stand up immediately with 1 hit point. The creature uses the Zombie stat block in the Monster Manual. It remains animate for 1 hour, after which time it collapses and dies. |
