Nemisis, the Arch-Demon of Retribution
Nemisis, the Arch-Demon of Retribution, was once a mortal man who suffered a great injustice at the hands of a powerful lord. His family was murdered, his home burned to the ground, and he himself was left for dead in the ashes of his former life.
Filled with a burning desire for revenge, Nemisis made a pact with Koandicen, the Evil God of Fear and Pain. In exchange for his soul, Koandicen granted Nemisis incredible power and transformed him into a demon of vengeance, tasked with spreading fear and torment throughout the mortal realm.
Nemisis embraced his new role with a twisted zeal, reveling in the suffering of those who had wronged him and anyone who stood in his way. He became a feared and reviled figure, known for his cruel methods and his insatiable thirst for revenge.
As time passed, however, Nemisis began to realize that his quest for vengeance had consumed him entirely. He had become a monster, a being of pure hatred and malice, and he no longer recognized the man he had once been.
Haunted by regret and remorse, Nemisis sought to break his pact with Koandicen and escape the endless cycle of pain and suffering that he had inflicted upon the world. But the Evil God was not one to release his servants so easily, and Nemisis found himself trapped in his demonic form, doomed to serve Koandicen for eternity.
Today, Nemisis continues to roam the mortal realm, spreading fear and torment wherever he goes. But deep down, he still harbors a glimmer of humanity, and he secretly longs for a way to break free from his infernal servitude and find redemption for his sins.
