More prosperous peasants may indulge their palates by preparing a more tasty and nutritive bowl of adara by boiling with milk instead of water. Adara may be prepared savory with the addition of olive oil or sweet with the addition of honey.
Farinare: A thin pancake made from chickpea flour that is baked before being seasoned with salt and pepper.
Itria: A thin, stringy wheat pasta that originates from Eknoi culture.
Labona: A tangy Nar foodstuff of curdled milk.

Dzite: A barley beer first brewed by the Khemites.
Horza: A beverage made from roasted ground barley that is most often served hot. Popular across all social classes, it is a common accompaniment to the morning meal.
