Garuda

Description

Physically, Garuda are human/corvid hybrids with an avian head and feet and humanoid torso and arms. They also possess wings and a tail. Garudas are indigenous to Dhenia and Aeolia.

Special Traits

All Garuda start with the abilities of a level 1 cleric. If Garuda character is a cleric, he or she is considered one level higher.
If lightly loaded, character can glide 15 feet for every 10 feet in starting elevation or spiral down from a height to land within 15 feet on launch point. Crippled Garuda cannot glide.
+10% to clothing, weapons, and armor costs outside of Garuda lands.
Bludgeoning attacks which cause maximum hit die damage has 1 in 6 chance of crippling injury by shattering bone. (1/2 speed and save vs. death to avoid unconsciousness, can only be cured by healing magic.)
