The Barbarian's Claim
Presented wine red and rank
Kegho he drank and drank
Until the night of the city whirled
And in a back alley he hurled
Beset by twenty large ruffians
The horseman employed fisticuffians
But they overcome his mighty thews
And near stove in his head, my muse
His chain, booty from a tomb, taken
Found gone when he did awaken
Settled on Kegho such Wrath
That he had to walk vengeance’s path
Buy you not a used gold chain
It might be Kegho’s to claim
When he comes for you with his axe
He will take your head too, as his tax
