Askbal
Askbals are marble-like coins used as currency across Aeis Alhru. They are imbued with magic that counters all illusory spells, meaning traders and customers cannot be tricked during transactions.
This property of magic-absorbancy can easily be exploited, however, and many coins are imbued with other effects. Many governments have tried to recall the coins, but have had minimal success for a myriad of reasons.
On the 1st of Flow 6370, for example, a key politician choked one of these coins when it became infused with an evil spirit and lodged itself inside their throat.
The safer coins are known as 'plains', while the corrupt ones are referred to as 'chanted'.
