Horolpod
Basic Information
Anatomy
Horolpods are omnivorous plants with strikingly variable anatomy depending on age, season and other environmental factors.
Growth Rate & Stages
Young Horolpods look nothing like their adult counterparts; instead they resemble insect-like creatures that feed off the glucose carried within the roots of the adult plants. As these young plants grow and mature they become less efficient at carrying out tasks, eventually moving to the edge of their parent's root system and settling there. Depending on many environmental factors, adult Horolpods can take an incredibly vast number of forms, and many have yet to be identified.
Ecology and Habitats
Horolpods thrive in warm, humid areas such as jungles, but some variants can also survive in dry grasslands and colder climates.
