Shimmer Reading

History

The tradition has existed at a small scale for centuries, but gained nation-wide attention when a professional shimmer reader prophesised a great death. The @king of Nazas was assassinated the next morning.

Execution

During the Month of Flow, many citizens of Nazas, as well as some tourists, visit the coastline under moonlight. Once there, they attempt to obtain meaning from the shimmering light that plays on the ocean. Many swear to have had their fortunes read by altruistic spirits.

Many participants bring compasses, telescopes and other instruments that enable them to view the sky and horizon in greater detail.
