Story Summary: S1C2

General Summary

The protagonists woke up their inn and prepared themselves for the day ahead. They walked to the Royal Gardens of Ptalsus Palace to reconvene with Boewick Lylusin, who informed them of a potential traitor among the Eclectics. There, they also met Æython Basir-Lydia, who had travelled to Ptalsus to find Sanso Umi.
Short on time, the protagonists split into two groups - Tohrm Prince and Æython went to find the missing prince, while the rest of the group searched for the Eclectics.
Tohrm and Æython eventually caught up to the prince after chasing him through the secret passageways of Ptalsus Palace. He explained that he was in hiding as he had sensed that a great evil was after him. When he heard that Commander Lylusin was still alive he was shocked, and immediately ran towards Ptalsus Arena.
The others learned more about the Fractured Realm from one of the Eclectics, Citellia Tadiia. She told them about an imbalance in the Spirit Realm that was having detrimental effects in the mortal world. They headed to Ptalsus Arena to find Lylusin and to identify the traitor. Lylusin was fighting a Walmuhd when they arrived.
During the fight, a shadow crept into the arena and gripped Lylusin, who froze mid-fight. Töla Tarakov managed to drag him out of the arena while Trytus distracted the Walmuhd. The suspected traitor ran past Sanso, who gave chase. Tohrm, Æython and the prince were just outside the arena, and managed to intercept the traitor. The chapter ended here.
