Torlada
Basic Information
Anatomy
The torlada is a large quadrupedal creature with thick, armour-like scales lining its body. It is unknown whether they should be classified as mammals or reptiles, as they exhibit features of both. They lay eggs and care for them until they hatch, but they also provide live offspring with a nutrient-rich substance produced in a unique organ.
Additional Information
Domestication
The thick but light scales produced and shedded by torladas are highly valuable, and many Humans keep small torlada ranches for this reason. They are notoriously difficult creatures to domesticate, however.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Wild and domesticated torladas can be found across Lower Meau.
