Triat Fungus
Basic Information
Ecology and Habitats
The roots of triat fungi grow through solid rock in order to carve out their own caverns below deserts. Once they have made these caverns, the roots germinate to form mushrooms that grow in the carved out space. These mushrooms grow continously, feeding on rich mineral deposits surrounding the cavern. Once a cavern becomes overpopulated, the mushrooms are theorised to send out ripples through astral space that shift the underground landscape and allow the caverns to 'explode'.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Triat fungi feed on underground mineral deposits, as well as Petrified Essence.
