The city is mostly inhabited by Humans, with a large Sahq'aakaf settlement underground.

History

Twa'abal was founded by Human settlers who left the continent of Natimus. They were unaware of the Sahq'aakaf population that already existed in Joa'dom. They began suffering from unknown illnesses, and none of their medicines worked to cure them. The Sahq'aakaf then emerged and shared their medicinal knowledge with the Humans. In return, the Humans shared their knowledge of the surface world with the other species, and a strong bond was formed between the two.
