The Apathy Crisis occured in Cqiio in the 6260s. The citizens of Cqiio owned such immense wealth that they were struggling to find new ways to spend it. They grew bored and restless, and some citizens began to stage more and more elaborate events as means to spend money. The crisis reached its peak in 6268, when one citizen hired thousands of people to stage an invasion of Qaiyo, the capital. The empress was not informed of this, and reacted by bringing in the military. This resulted in an immense bloodbath and the banishment of the citizen. Finally, a solution was found: an entertainment complex was built and is adorned with new features each year to keep citizens occupied.
