Conjunction

Conjunctions are a yearly event in which water islands, the only sky islands known to 'wander' in a predictable arc, briefly brush up against each other. During these periods, aquatic fauna cross between the islands and sure up their populations between islands. It is also a period marked by a rise in inter-island aggression, as the various populations of conjuncting water islands briefly skirmish to maintain their boarders.

Localization

Conjunctions are specific to water islands, and as of right now, their specific cause is an under investigated mystery of the Skies. Religious scholars of Salt posit that conjunctions are the will of The Water Titan made manifest, and that it is not meant for the mortal races to ponder their aquatic radiance.
