Zephyr Chariot

Zephyr chariots are small autonomous flying machines that can generally fit one to two passengers. Due to their size, chariots are generally powered by smaller, less powerful Elemental Engine, meaning they can only stay airborne for a few hours at most.

Utility

The high cost of zephyr chariot has prevented them from becoming widely adopted as personal modes of transportation. Generally, they are used for ship-to-ship combat or as a landing vehicle for Sky Ships. Some very wealthy individuals treat them as luxury vehicles, but due to the lack of lack of proper landing infrastructure, they often can't land their expensive chariots anywhere.

Access & Availability

Zephyr chariots are a fairly expensive piece of technology. Originally invented by Zephyr Co., a company found on Lyndwyrm island, the concept has since been appropriated by several different organizations and manufacturers across the Skies.
Despite the fact that Zephyr Co. does not have a monopoly on the idea, as they are the group that pioneered the invention, the technology has maintained the name of their original model, the Land Rider and Zephyr Chariot Rules, Stats, and Combat (similar how we call tissue paper "kleenex").
