Free Citizens

To become a Free Citizen one must, of their own free will, swear upon the Needle the oaths of the Citizen, which are engraved upon its surface in a magical Lingua Franca. Upon swearing on the needle, they receive the Glyph of the Free Citizen, which binds them to the laws of the city, and also changes their metaphysical alignment to that of the demi-plane. This has the effect of making the demi-plane of the Free City their home plane for the purposes of the Banishment spell. It also protects them from the effects of the Phase Drop condition.

Manifestation

The Glyph of the Free Citizen becomes emblazoned on the body.
