Uluru

Also known as Ayres Rock, Uluru is a single massive sandstone formation in the Northern Territory located in the Kata Tjuta National Park and is sacred to the Aboriginal people of the area. Aboriginal myths tell that the fissures in the rock were caused by two tribes of warring snake people. Other stories tell how during sunset on Midwinter’s eve, when the moon is full and Sirius is the brightest star in the sky, certain fissures no longer lead into dead ends, but instead deposit travelers into The Dreamtime. On such nights, creatures and spirits from the Dreamtime are able to find their way to Earth-Prime.
