Deep Elves
The elves of the deep forests, of Elbantire in The Frontier are the outcasts, refugees and descendants of those sun elves, mist elves and others from the Eastern Kingdoms and beyond. Over centuries of cross-breeding, the deep elves developed a skin pattern of gold and black patches reflecting their bright elf and mist elf heritage.
Languages: Root Elven (a mixed language comprising of Bright Elven of the Sun Elves, Fogged Elven of the Mist Elves and others).

Recent History
The Deep Elves came into contact with the human world in the Deep Elf Incursion of 1060. United by Kinraeth and his Death Conjurers, the Houses of the Deep Elves were coerced or inspired to unite under the The Risen Empire of the Deep Elves. The Risen Empire was defeated by the Frontiersmen and their Alliance in Winter of 1060.Culture

Common Customs, traditions and rituals
Vieslu Salna
Known in Vallish as the 'Preservation of the Souls,' Vieslu Salna is a practice whereby Deep Elf nobles willingly surrender their souls to be infused into an item. This strong magic enables the item to become powerfully enchanted, while the personalities grow ever more unstable. These heirlooms are held sacred and only ever used in times of great conflict.- Dreamsinger, a milk-white sword of House Ylamys known to heal the user.
- The Nightmare Blade, a black and purple blade of House Ylamys known to inflict terrible nightmares.
