Dance of the Wolf Brother

Dog of War often participate in the Dance of the Wolf Brother ritual. The members will gather around the fire and consume the koyro which is a blend of beer, mead, honey and hallucinogenic mushrooms.
They tell stories of their ancient ancestors, the Wolf Brother, and engage in the war dance. When they do this the Dog of War will often take on the aspects and free soul of their fallen ancestors.

Historical Basis

It is an ancient custom that predates history. Dog of War of war literally act out what they observe in their environment, learn, and emulate what the observe. The Dog of War are a people of oral stories and traditions.

Variations & Mutation

Each War Band has their own stories and myths and they can be similar they also vary in a large degree.

Cultural Reception

The myths and legends are secret and not shared outside of their community. When a member lays down the wolf skin they tell the stories and myths no more.
