Anchorgrass

Anchorgrass is a common drought-tolerant grass species primarily found in Balaqalneyis and Kiva. Its thick and tenacious root systems play a key role in tempering erosion and are an important grazing crop.   Balaqalneyis' unexpectedly thriving dairy industry relies on the prolific anchorgrass in the north of the country.
