Mosswing
Mosswings are common, stout birds across Icalar and due to their trainability and strong homing senses, also the most common carrier bird. They are so named for their vivid green coloring, which has led to them often being depicted in art and fashion.

A variable diet of seeds, nuts, insects, and occasionally small fish, amphibians, and gastropods. Though they are technically raptors, they are passive and only partake in hunting semi-occasionally; their domestication has contributed to a more herbivorous diet/lifestyle.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Their bellies and legs are white-feathered, but their wings, backs, necks, and heads are feathered in shades of iridescent green. The coloring is near-identical for males and females.
