Seipios (SAY-pee-ohs)

The Seipios -- sometimes 'People of the Spear' -- are an ethnic group indigenous to the Qos Spear who have subsequently mixed with others in the area to form the peoples of modern eastern Ustraria.   Glou-Vobara is named for the Vobar, one of the known named families of the group.   Tidi Koth-taan, matriarch of the Koth-taan family and Martus Eburos' mother, was a relatively well-known Seipios descendent and highly respected.

Common Customs, traditions and rituals

Though not a formalized process, traditionally heads of families would acknowledge their trust -- if not allegiance to -- other heads of families through the gifting of colored, braided ribbons. On formal occasions these would be worn draped across one shoulder and fastened or knotted at the opposite underarm.
