Self-Study for Recognition of Historic Patterns Agreement, The

The Self-Study for Recognition of Historic Patterns Agreement (or simply "The Self-Study Agreement"), while not a formal agreement in the form of a decree etc. per se, refers to the census conducted by all capitals/countries when called upon to do so by the Census Service. It is entirely voluntary and a relatively new practice and as such suffers from lack of regularity and civil support, and inconsistent scope. Nonetheless, it is an important indicator of the Age of Enlightenment.
