Voices for the Dead: A Collection of Icalaran Funereal Music and Song

The prominence of Shepherds of Leaving and of death rituals generally across Icalar have supported the proliferation of funeral dirges and other musical accompaniment, though they are often referred to as 'songs' in reflection of the more positive view of death. Many of these pieces have a long history of oral tradition.
An attempt to collect these songs, hymns, and music was first attempted in 776AC by the notable scholar Teshi Ttarvek in this anthology, and though Ttarkvek himself remarked not long before he died that it was incomplete, it is nonetheless a suitable reference.
