This is basically just going be a transplanted version of the Inspector from the Powder Mage books. To be honest, his attitude, habits, and even motivations can stay fairly consistent from before, seeing as last time his peculiar brand of righteousness led him to knowingly taking on what was basically Moriarty with divine power and the economic might of the Dutch East India Trading Company at its peak. So as he starts to lift the veil a bit on the Y'Ghatan's and the cults, he will have plenty of internal struggle, but he'll keep on keeping on. I figure at this point he has some wide-reaching suspicions, but nothing concrete, and he thinks Flensburger and crew are the key to cracking the case open, and hopefully getting some sort of injunction issued against them by Governor Korbolo Dom, or maybe even the current Demidrek.

This ex-retired cop used to be the best inspector(detective) in Korel. He has been convinced to put his bowler cap back on for various reasons, and has been looking into the inconsistencies regarding the Order of Blinding Light, the Y'Ghatan family, and specifically right now, The Blinders.
